Our Curriculum
At the Holme our community, our outside environment and Christian values are central to our curriculum. We want our children to grow in love, courage and wisdom to develop their love of learning; love of themselves and each other; love of life and of God; knowing that we are all unconditionally loved and capable of reaching our full potential.
Our enquiry-based topics provide our children with opportunities and experiences that inspire and motivate them to make the right choices in life. To equip them with skills and knowledge to enable them to be effective learners, who are able to learn from their mistakes. To give them the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, values and skills that they need to reach their potential as individuals and give them aspirations for their futures. To become thoughtful, inquisitive individuals, who are brave and resilient.
The quality texts used to drive topics, encourage our children to be immersed within a language rich environment to become confident and articulate speakers who demonstrate a wide vocabulary in their communication.
