SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Each child is unique. If your child has a special educational need or disability, the level of provision used to support them will vary. The school utilises a continuum tier system that identifies the SEND support required, in order to help ensure your child’s needs are met. Pupils with SEND are quickly identified and their needs catered for on an individual basis.

Teaching throughout the school is differentiated to meet the needs of all and our high percentage of adult to child ratio means an abundance of high quality support is available. A range of high quality resources and staff training is in place to ensure an ongoing programme of effective intervention is being implemented and that good progress is being made.

Mrs Lay, the Inclusion Manager (SENCO) is responsible for the overall co-ordination of our SEND provision and a point of support and advice for parents. Please send an email if you would like to make an appointment to meet with Mrs Lay.
