Morning Snacks

In Years R, 1 and 2 the children are provided with free fruit during their morning playtime.  There is a variety of fruit, including bananas, apples, pears, tomatoes, baby cucumbers, raisins etc.  This is funded by the government and available to all children without having to order it.

Children also have the option to pay for a carton of milk every day.  If you would like your child to receive milk, you can order it from the school office.

In Years 3,4,5 and 6 we have a school snack shop at morning play which is run by Mr Pound in the school kitchen.  The children can choose from different snacks, including freshly baked rolls.  The menu is available below.

Most children enjoy this option and it's a good opportunity for them to handle their own money and check change.

If you prefer, you are welcome to send a snack of your own choice into school, but this must only be either fruit or salad.
